Looking Brighter

What a lovely Hibiscus (in a neighbour's garden).

I had a tentative gentle stroll around the village this morning. The short circuit only takes about 15 minutes. I wanted to try out how the vision is progressing in the operated eye. I still have some days to go before the swelling subsides as the healing process continues, but I am cautiously optimistic. I could see more clearly than yesterday and even tried the 'number plate' distance test required for driving as I walked and think I would pass. Not that I'll be driving until the eye surgeon signs me off, a few weeks away.
