The morning is a lovely 18c and beautifully sunny and warm.
I was already feeling very happy with the England team winning the Euro football final. The newspapers have captured the story exuberantly. Then I received the good news from my sister that her son and his partner gave birth to a baby boy early this morning. Mother and baby are both doing well. I went down to Lisa's card shop and enjoyed finding a suitable congratulations card to send them.
