History was made
The England women's football team won the European championship at Wembley, in front of a capacity crowd. They beat Germany 2-1 in extra time. It's a win for England, and for women, as the sport is professional now, and gains large audiences. This recognition has been a long, long time coming. I'm old enough to remember a time when girls weren't allowed to play football.
We watched, and bit our nails off. Indie slept through it.
In other news, we went to the tip, and disposed of more garden waste. I did loads of house-related things. (I've already forgotten what they were, so it must have been a riveting morning).
