Wall to wall carpet...

for deer! We went for our first real spring-time walk in the woods today and it was beautiful. The woodland floor was covered in green shoots and little white wildflowers, as well as a few patches of cowslips. I very nearly blipped those as I love them, but I decided on this image. There were wild geese on a pond, and I tried to get them but all I managed was to scare them off. They settled again on a nearby lake though, so I didn't feel too bad.

We're having chicken gyros, greek salad, tzatziki, and garlic bread for dinner tonight! I can't wait... :-)
