We had a quiet morning then headed up to see Granny. We went to a restaurant at a garden centre in Cupar for lunch, which was really very good.
Fuelled up, we headed over to Craigtoun Country park. We had great fun. We started off with a game of Crazy Golf. Granny looked like a bit of a bandit on the first few holes, but CyclopsJnr took the win in the end. Then he did bouncy castle, slides, pedalo (pictured), pedal carts and zipline. A break for a cold drink and a Belgian waffle with Nutella, white chocolate and cream was needed. Energy restored, we went in a rowing boat, back to the bouncy castle, popped on to the trampolines, and finished off with another go on the pedal carts. It was pretty quiet this time so Cyclops too one too and an epic race ensued... Granny came on the pedalo and the rowing boat, but couldn't be tempted on to the trampolines or pedal carts :-)
The forecast had been cloudy, but we had the sun most of the afternoon.
We popped into St Andrews to see if we could find some dinner before dropping Granny off, but we tried 5 restaurants and none could take us - plenty of tables, but not enough staff. So we bought pizza in a supermarket and cooked back at Granny's house. Delicious. Profiteroles with chocolate sauce followed. Yum.
We were home very late, but I think we all enjoyed our day out so it was worth it...
