It's funny how things turn out...

This lovely Jay Bird was sat outside our window singing to us. I was going to take the time to use a proper camera to snap a shot of this beautiful bird, but decided to take one quickly with my phone first - the quality isn't great and this is actually a cropped and expanded image because I didn't have time to zoom - but I'm so glad that I just took this impulse shot, because I managed to get this stunning view of the Jay taking flight from the tree, and as soon as I had it flew off and left us alone. If I had taken the time to get my proper camera I would have completely missed the chance.
