Deep Dive

Using a long lens to pick out one bright red cardinal in the midst of the meadow seems to work quite well. I positioned the camera so there was some out of focus red colour in the foreground to relate to. I like looking through the distorted shapes and colour and just having the subject in focus. It gives a feel for the density of growth there is in the meadow.
