One End To The Other (1) ……

…… Half Way Stop.
For some reason known only to us we decided to leave Falmouth at 4:30am in our hire car, Mrs S, Sam, Paddy and I.
A pretty uneventful journey as you would expect at that time of day. We arrived at the South Shore Travelodge at around 12:30, Paddy was brilliant throughout the journey.
Blackpool, a little seedy, a little scruffy but still with a little charm but having now been I’m in no rush to return.
Travelodge's can be described as ‘Spartan’ but are adequate for overnight stops, they have all you need, having checked in after our initial walk the plan was to dump our bags and head out but instead we slept for an hour before heading off to find our recommended ‘chippy’. Bentleys Fish & Chip Shop was everything the plaudits claimed.
Having eaten we walked the length of the esplanade until dusk before heading back to the rooms and catching up on some much needed sleep.
