Park2Park 10km event at Ipswich...

Ipswich is just over an hours drive from from and most of the drive is on the motorway...
Park2Park raise funds for medical research at their local hospital who are doing great things...
Park2Park - it's a very hilly course that's run across 2 parks, it offer many different races, a half marathon, a 4 person Team Relay Marathon, a 10km, a 5km walk, a 2.5km kids dash and a novelty family obstacle course...

Ruben did the 10km run, first 5km split was 20:05, so was on pace... Then on the next lap due to rain (which wasn't forecasted) wet grass clippings getting stuck in the tread of his shoes then reaching the wet road hills he couldn't get any traction with his shoes so was slipping about the place which intern caused a twinge in his quad so he eased off the pace and finished in a time of 42:55...

Awesome event, we didn't hang around for any of the smaller races, we opted to head home for breakfast...
