…was visiting last night. She has grown up a lot but is very short, her legs forgot to grow. Here she is on top of the softest cushion she could find. Maddy stayed and busied herself making some trousers from my material stash. It was a Vogue pattern so she learned a few tricks from her Nana about what is essential when sewing and what shortcuts you can make.

After lunch we went over to Bryan and Kristy’s place. They have been doing some home renovations while we have been away. The boys are growing up. Elijah amused us as he was asking “Hey Google” some  interesting questions. I asked Google how old it was. It said it was pleased I had asked and said “guess”.  I guessed 6. Max is now taller than his mother. Kristy has just finished a uni degree ( plus bringing up 4 boys and works). She is amazing.

The numbers of Covid cases and deaths are very high in Australia.
