Colour

Managed to return the car and visit the market, then spent the rest of the day doing almost nothing. Oh, I did have a little doze on the sofa.

Peering out through the jungle that currently fills the kitchen window, I notice that the first Peppapeach chilli is starting to colour up.

Edit: belatedly remembered that I found I'd improved the car's consumption from 30.4mpg when I started to 68.8 mpg when I got back. Made the fuel bill slightly less eye-watering than it could have been. Oh, and I detest 'smart' motorways.
