Ye Olde Fairground

Carter's Steam Fair has arrived in town - they spent the past two days setting up in time to open for the weekend. I was anticipating getting some shots filled with people enjoying themselves but when I went at around lunchtime it was empty -possibly due to the very cold wind and cool weather.

I decided that this Victorian fair needed a vintage effect for the best way to show the scene off.

I had spent the morning watching my son playing cricket and it was freezing cold - the fact that he took 4 wickets did little to help me thaw out after shivering in my fold out chair for nearly 3 hours! It has gone from being a glorious summer-like week to firmly back into winter!
