Penstemon

There are many different ones, here it are the purple and white beardtongues. Another set of flowers in our garden. D. really knows how to fill the new part of the garden with plants that blossom at different times, so we have many months where we can enjoy the colours, the odour and the insects.

PS: if you were expecting to see more pictures with hatchlings/fledglings I have to disappoint you :). The little birds have moved to another spot. We see the parents with beaks full of food, but the little ones are hiding very well, and the parents know how to misguide us. Perhaps later again.
