Tranquil spaces

This is the churchyard of St Mary's in Kirkby Lonsdale.

I don't care if you're religious or not - I mean, I _really_ don't care - spaces like these, created for contemplation and the celebration of creation*, can have a profound effect on us, particularly when the sun is shining so beautifully.

*whether you believe it was 'intelligently' created or not.
