la Fontana

This is the view from the terrace of our favourite bar, Fontana in the Bellagio hotel. You can sit outside and drink lovely cocktails, listen to the music and watch the water fountains dance, rising up in the air and crashing down in time to the music.

This bar is also where they make my new favourite cocktail. It's called a Fortunata, and it's a mixture of Amaretto di Saronno, Caravella Orangecello liqueur, fresh lemon juice and prosecco sparkling wine. Sometime soon I must try to recreate this concoction.
