Sir Edward Elgar at the Three Choirs Festival

He's seen quite a few Three Choirs Festivals, and indeed this year's (in Hereford) is ending with a performance of his Dream of Gerontius. It's unfortunate that his bike hasn't any spokes in the wheels. That's probably why he's still there.
Incidentally, there can't be many five-letter words as completely anagrammable as ELGAR. Five in my reckoning, if you include ELGAR, six with ARGLE, which means "argue", apparently.
