Clouds
It was another beautiful calm morning so I was excited to get out and take some photos. I had an appointment at the hospital so we left the house at 10am. We went to B&Q first to change a bent hinge David had received for his gate and some nuts that were the wrong size for his rowing machine.I sat in the car amongst the noisy seagulls. Some of their Young have fledged and were in the carpark.
On to the hospital , managed to park. The hospital seems really empty now the cafe has gone. After going through ‘security’ I was told that the Consultant was running at least half an hour late. Had my weight and blood pressure taken, it was high but it always is when I go even though I try and stay calm.
After about 30 minutes the nurse came over and said he was now at least an hour late. So I went outside for abit to get some fresh air and sunshine.
Eventually was seen and had scans taken of my hands and knees and then on to have X-rays on my knees.
There was fluid on my knees but he’s not sure if it’s caused by rheumatoid or osteoarthritis. He’s referred me to Fran, the physio, for some injections. I might have to have an MRI next and be referred to orthopaedics.
By the time I came out it had clouded over. We ate our lunch under the Kessock Bridge in North Kessock.Drove down the side of the Firth and managed to park at Redcastle.Something at set the birds up but I could not see what it was. Could see any predators in the sky so maybe it was an otter. I know one has been seen down there.
Popped down to the harbour before going home. The tide was in which always gives nice reflections.Lots of kids out in boats having fun :)
Went to the Brownie garden on the way back. Not too many weeds, just couch grass. The sweet peas and rose were out and two huge sunflowers :)
