The Road Well Trod

To get to the hospital, we tend to take the toll road to avoid the inevitable congestion in San Pedro. We get a lovely view of La Concha for our 5:50 euros toll.

My follow-up visit to have my stitches removed did not go quite as planned. It seems there is a lot of fluid in the wound, which might mean an infection or a haemotoma. Either way it will mean several more visits to the hospital over the coming days.

There is a chance I may have to have the prosthesis cleaned which involves virtually a repeat performance of the original operation.

And on Friday too. We have tickets for Simple Minds in Marbella that night.
