Friday.
A beautiful early morning turned into a beautiful day. This Oak Leaf hydrangea is flowering superbly in the first Friday garden.
Spent around 2 hours pruning a Beauty Bush, Kolkwitzia Amabilis. It was quite congested, some weak growth and last season's flowered stems. Looks great now though and looking forward to seeing how well it will flower next year.
Also spent some time pruning a Philadelphus which was way past it's best.
Afterwards went to RF's for dinner and to see how Willis was. We had a takeaway and Willis was moving around but not quite his normal vigour..
