City of Wells

Another locomotive blip.

This afternoon I headed over to Heywood Station on the East Lancashire Railway. I arrived just in time to see the 14:45 diesel service depart  for Rawtenstall (see extra). 

After a cappuccino and an ice cream in the sunshine from the  Whistle Stop cafe I blipped the City of Wells locomotive depart at 15:33.

My Fitbit says I have clocked up over 16,600 steps today but I think it's had a bit of a wobble and double-counted some steps from the Strava-logged route.
