Alium seedheads

For Flower Friday, I had to choose between fresh flowers and these two alium seedheads which are covered in seeds and dropping them at the least vibration. The seedheads won. 
The drought in the East Midlands continues - our weeping willow tree has shed so many leaves on the lawn, it looks like autumn not to mention all the flowers that have died early. I water the few potted plants and hanging baskets outside but feel guilty about even that - often it is the washing up water that they are doused in!
