This woman was sitting at my usual bench by canal.

Thought she looked interesting as big floppy hat and writing away by hand in a book. She continued not even noticing a dog passing and staring at her.

I sat further down and finally took a distant photo. I want to be like her.

As usual, canal very calming and easy to pass a good while just looking at it.

When back at caravan found that I'd taken a video right into sun. Tried to find how to get a screenshot of just a frame to put on here. Not very sucessful. But it was still the best thing to happen today!

Very hot and stickily clammy all day. Seemed more uncomfortable than even those incredibly hot recent days.
