L'allée des platanes

Lazy local blip!

It actually rained this morning. No surprise that I was the only taker for the swimming pool -- none of the aquagym ladies turned up except for the instructor, to check no-one was there. I had the pool to myself and enjoyed the raindrops plinking onto the water. Sadly my new phone's camera proved unequal to the task of capturing them. Either that or I lack the skill.

We had to go to the garage to fetch the red car which has been in Contrôle Technique jail all week after I realised that it was nearly a month overdue and we should have had it done before we went to Ireland ... oops. Leaving S to pick up the car I went into town in Bruno the Peugeot to do a bit of shopping, realising when I got there that S was now locked out of the house as I took all the house keys with me. Oops again. At least he had a car to sit in.

The sun is out again now, and it's good to have the house much cooler thanks to the breeze through open windows. Only 18C today!
