We are back

I am back at work today. My first day back in the office after a week away started with a 9am breakfast at Smiths of Smithfield where my bosses had booked a table.  ‘Product team eat breakfast’ became a bit of an event. It was very nice to be there with them and we had a really nice time that was not, overly, work focussed.  

On the way to breakfast I passed a branch of Cubana also in Smithfield. It’s not one I’ve been to recently - nor was it the one I used to go to when I worked with people who are regulars - but I was tempted to send the picture to my former colleagues to remind them of our times in the Lower Marsh branch. In the end I didn’t but I thought the ‘We are Back’ banner was a good marker for the day.
