DINEY'S FUNERAL FLOWERS
As promised in my last blip, these are a few of the floral tributes laid out in the churchyard next to her huge grave.
I couldn't fit in the horse, gypsy wagon and other amazing flower sculptures. There was even a bird table, again in flowers with birds. The cost must have been huge but it is a show of immense love for the Matriarch of this huge gypsy family.
There has been a vigil keeping watch of at least 20 of the family and apparently that is there tradition.
She was only my age and I don't think she ever got over the loss of Ivor her son whose grave is next door. He was a pig farmer I believe and died in his forties.
So once again death is constantly creeping up on us all.
Hang onto all that you hold precious and tell them you love them. xxxxxx
