Ripe

After weeks of observing slow growth there has been a recent spurt and with the heat last week the ripening process has begun. I’ve had a few of the cherry type tomatoes from other plants but look forward to a lovely tomato sandwich with a sprinkling of sea salt.

Something else that was ripe was the language in the return of The Great which we caught up with. Mary Whitehouse - whose name popped up the other day in a radio programme - would be spinning so fast in her grave at the content. If you can adjust to that, set aside any historical accuracy and some of the scenes the programme is outrageous and great and can be very funny.. Huzzah!
