Found treasure

Was walking across the park to dinner and scrabble and came upon this treasure of a stick but sadly with no dog for whom to throw it.

The man of the house cooked as Bridget had been cooking for holiday club and helping out elsewhere! Very good it was too especially as he used the boiled potatoes from the previous day and coated them with olive oil and a few spices and cooked them to go with the barbecue chicken and salad! Very good especially as I hadn’t eaten much else all day!

We played scrabble , Bridget won and no unscrabble as we were just about to watch the opening ceremony of the commonwealth games! Lots of bright colour and spectacle! Not sure I appreciated all the nuances of events however successfully completed and will be watching a few things in the coming days!
