Cranefly Orchid

It's once again time for the cranefly orchids to bloom. This one is just starting to open up its flowers. Now that I know where they are, I look for them every August (or late July). I also now know what their leaves look like - so in the winter I can see where there will be more of them the following summer. The plant doesn't have leaves and flowers at the same time!
