Twenty-seven
Slightly behind last year's reading total (by 2 currently) I finished this one this afternoon. A bit more of a challenge than the last one and an interesting dystopia but a few too many things left hanging at the end for my liking. Book choices now are to be taken on holiday so I need to choose wisely.
A morning of doing jobs, including a bit of a food shop and getting ready for our visitors. Bailey gave Mum and Dad a suitable greeting when they arrived. A sit in the garden this afternoon and then out to try and spot the Red Arrows on a flypast over Bomber Command before they went to Birmingham for the opening ceremony. We'd have done better watching from the lounge or the back garden it turns out. They were thunder-bug-sized where we did see them from the road (as evidenced by my extra...) before they looped round and went very close to the house.
