Two weeks on

The flower meadow in the park, more variety than 2 weeks ago.
Cycled to the walk by the direct route, walked drank tea and chatted, then returned via a longer and much hillier route. 
Then it was lunchtime and after the hard work began.
Before I went out we removed all the furniture from the bedroom (except the bed) and Mr Rat hoovered everywhere ready for replacing the carpet. The intial plan was to put the old one from downstairs on top of the one already there but it became apparent this wasn't going to work so the old one had to go. Once we had the right plan it actually didn't take too long and the bedroom is now carpetted, cleaned, furniture back and bed remade.
It was hard work so a lazy evening and a fairly early night, methinks.
