Grey Heron
There was no sign of the young one this morning. The rest of the gang were there and got a share of the sardines I had taken. I kept the whitebait I had taken as it is in short supply now and needed for the young one. This afternoon I went back and the young one put on a show for some picnickers. She flew over and landed on the dovecote. They all looked up then she glanced around and landed at my feet. I gave her the whitebait and included some pollock. She ate the lot then took off and looked to be heading out of the park in the direction of another nearby loch although she may have veered back. I made my way to the clearing and found the youngest one and gave it the remainder of the pollock.
