The underneath of the rail overbridge

An easy trip into the city this morning meant that I was early to work, and was able to get this photo of the morning sun on the rail overbridge at the (being redeveloped) Mount Eden station.

It has only ben in the last few years that Auckland suburban rail stations have had either underpasses or overbridges for pedestrians. Level crossings for vehicular traffic still persist in many places.

I like how this shape and texture reminds one of Star Wars.
