Polishing silver

Had to take Jon's car for its 200K service this morning. 

Back home to do some tedious chores I've been putting off for ages.  The silver Arabian Dhow was one of the wedding gifts/farewell gifts we received 30 years ago from the Hyatt Dubai colleagues.  

It is so satisfying to see the finished result once the polishing has been done though.  Thought I'd better get a photo of the toast rack before I finished polishing it :).

Car finally picked up at 5pm!
