Maple

After Anzac day yesterday, it reminded me of this beautiful maple we have in our garden. We first planted it many years ago, on the day of my Father in Laws funeral. He was a returned Serviceman and died in Australia. We could make it to his funeral, so I bought this maple and at the time of the funeral, we planted it in our garden.

It as been shifted about 4 times since but has been here for the past 10 plus years. It has the most amazing colour and has a prominent position in my garden.
