Twenty six days later

The nearly bare branches of this tree photographed on Easter Sunday have made good progress since then. When they first emerged, these leaves appeared to be an interesting shade of crimson.

I still have no idea what type of tree this is, nevertheless, I'm enjoying my observations of its development along with the new colors and textures awakening in our yard.

Oh, leaf me alone.
