Peninsular War

I had quite forgotten about it. Suddenly, crammed dates about British battles against Napoleon came flooding back as I perused this monument to the lost soldiers of the British and Portuguese armies in Torres Vedras, just north west of Lisbon.

Dd was in the school she is assessing all day and I managed to produce, with intense concentration, a CV for one of my clients. Nothing existed in finished form before today although the raw material had been collected, all ready for some heavy writing/editing input! I am sure he will like it when we review the draft on Friday.
