On the beach

We took our grandson to the beach today.  Not a real beach ie at the seaside but to the Cotswold Country Park and Beach.  Its not really like the seaside but it is a great environment for children.  We spent the morning playing with sand and water at the edge of the lake.  All around us children of all ages were enjoying themselves in the water.  Several birthday parties were taking place and Lucas enjoyed watching a small group of similar aged children having a birthday picnic and playing in the sand and water.

After lunch we progressed to running around the grassed areas and venturing into the playgrounds.  An enjoyable day with Lucas returning home pretty tired.
