Tatties

We emptied the 3 tubs of potatoes this afternoon not a great crop, would have expected more. I’m not sure if I will try again next year. 

To try to be objective about the returns I weighed them. I started out with 3 groups of 6 tubers, total weight 300 grams.
I accidentally dropped the egg boxes that I was using to chit the tubers and there was a bit of a mix up just before they were planted. You can see that the top pot and the one on the left are probably a mixture of two varieties. The total weight of all new potatoes is 1,023grams, just over I kg. 

A busy day. The alarm was set so as to get in the queue at 8am for a call to the GP surgery. Worth the effort as I got a call eventually, saw a locum GP, he recommended a test, I arranged for it to be done, so now waiting for a call to arrange a date. All before breakfast which was late ……almost lunchtime!!!
