Summer

Wednesdays are my craft group days . I meet up with a group of lively, eclectic like minded women. We come from a variety of backgrounds and more importantly cultures and faiths. Buddist,Muslim, Hindu, Quaker, Catholic, Methodist, Christian and no/ anti faith.. makes for very interesting conversations at times.!!! We all bring some food for a shared lunch and enjoy each other’s company and our love of craft work; sharing our skills and learning new ones . I have to travel to the other side of the city but it’s worth it.. except when the trains are on strike, so today it was four bus journeys in stead of four trains.!!I still managed to finish my stencilled throw..Quite what I’m going to do with it ( it’s the size of a curtain) I don’t know but I enjoyed the process and that for me is more important!
