Net Repair Needle

This sculpture is a huge fishers’ net repair needle a tool which is still used regularly here in the village to mend fishing nets.I took this expansive view shot this morning at 7:30am as I headed out for my bike early to avoid the summer heat that would be building later in the day.  The extras show other wide views, one towards the Fraser River to the south east and the other towards Vancouver in the north.
