A lovely day…

plenty of sun and warmth, so that will encourage the heather to come out.
Had breakfast in the garden with new visitors, it is usually the Squirrels and Woodpeckers. This morning there were two Red legged Partridges feeding and grooming for about an hour and a half. Took their hint and cut the grass later! Coffee in the garden was taken watching Mountaineering Mouse. It climbs a metre up through the Rosa rugosa, then usually can get onto the bird feeder, but I had just refilled it and had turned the pole, so frustrating it. Felt mean, after watching its efforts. However, it managed to glean some scraps from underneath as the birds fed.
