I was pretty sure...

... that this is a six-spot burnet moth, photographed this morning.

I think I have blipped one before, but wishing to check my identification, I tried an on-line search for the above mentioned moth.

I promptly got a demand to reassure Google that I was over 18 years old! before I could access the photos.

I assume that was because some of the images appeared to show mating in progress!

As usual, I have no idea what the flower in the photo is.
