A bit cloudier today but still warm…it’s a long time since we’ve had a UK summer holiday fairly secure of good weather!
Mt&H decided to take the kids to an adventure park so they packed up lunch. Mx wanted to make himself a wrap of the things he liked best (at the moment that’s a very limited range!) and wanted to make it look like a smiley face that he then modelled!
After they left I decided to go for a wee pootle around the farm shops and Burnham Market etc. had a lovely chilled day. A&N and N&R stayed around the house in the morning, hot tubbing and relaxing, then headed to Holt for lunch and a wander before going to see the seals in a boat trip from Blakeney.
The evening was the now usual tumble of kids’ tea, hot tubbing, dogs playing, drinks and nibbles then curry dinner. We didn’t eat the summer pudding I made but will let it steep till tomorrow.
More phone calls back and forward about Diesel. After a not very helpful call from someone this morning it was in the back of my head all day but had a much more supportive call later, and T is going to pick him up tomorrow. Unlikely he has long to live but all the dog owners in the family want to give P a chance to say goodbye. P meanwhile still very paranoid about the hospital and convinced he’s surrounded by conspiracies to attack him and riots outside the building. By the evening I found out he’d been transferred to the cardiology ward so hopefully he’ll be getting more targeted care and there will be less change and activity than on the admissions ward. Will call tomorrow to try and learn more about what’s happening with him.
