School holidays

Visit to AJ this morning - in her words she was a bit “narky” today, so didn’t stay too long, had to get back home for hair cut. Our daughter and the boys arrived, they played whilst we had our hair cut. Quick lunch then off out for the afternoon.

We attended an event this afternoon - Bugs, birds and beasts - locally, very organised, a display of birds of prey, understanding butterflies, honey bees, bees, things found in the sea, things found in a pond (did some pond dipping and caught some newts), and lots of other things. The boys loved the birds, looking at all the bugs and beasts and pond dipping. Tge best thing for them was holding the Kookaburra called Kookie.
