304 Of 365: Great Spotted Woodpecker

   Unless I've mis-identified it.

A run up to the Loch of the Lowes today. When I open the car's boot I was really cheesed to find that I hadn't packed my 150-500mm telezoom lens. Raging with myself for that as the Ospreys are still there and my 70-300mm lens wasn't going to give me what I wanted in a photo, even using a 2x converter. Sent over 125 shots to the garbage can.

Best be quick if I want to try for another Osprey shot. There are two young birds there (plus adults) One is still in the nest but should fully fledge soon. The other is out and about, practising the skills it will need to survive.
