Canal walk

This evening I decided to take Sid and Pierce for a walk by the canal. I aimed to go to Wilmcote but the parking spaces were full so I headed to Edstone aqueduct. We had a good walk along there. The canal had lots of purple loosestrife growing along the edges and there were butterflies and damselflies and a couple of large dragonflies. It was beautiful and sunny. Very peaceful too. I saw nobody around, not walking, running or cycling. Only one narrow boat parked up. Back home now and the dogs are playing with toy caterpillar now.
