BUTTERFLY MEDLEY

I went over the road to the old cemetery and saw four butterflies there for the first time this year. That was in addition to the masses of Speckled Woods, Skippers, Whites and Red Admirals that are usually about. Clockwise from top left: Holly Blue, Small Copper, Painted Lady and Comma, with a bonus Common Blue in the middle just because I like them so much.

I'm posting this and running as I have choir to go to and while I was processing my photos a friend from the past phoned out of the blue for a chat, which was lovely.
