Even young Moorhens get thirsty

Before meeting up with some of my patchwork pals for lunch I had a quick couple of circuits round the Rouken Glen pond.

Plenty of water lily pads and it was like watching a game of chess as this young Moorhen negotiated its way across from one pad to another.
