A butterfly, at last!

The buddleia bush in my back garden has been in full flower now for over a week and doing its absolute best to attract some butterflies, today it succeeded! This morning, quite early on, I saw a small white but did not have my camera to hand but this afternoon I was ready and waiting when this small tortoiseshell came to visit! I am so relieved that there are some butterflies around although compared to normal years, very few. Hopefully there will be more to come before the buddleja blooms go over.
