I visited a friend this morning who is unwell and had been advised she wouldn’t live many more months.

She is doing ok in the main and the cancer doesn’t seem to be getting any worse, as far as she knows.

We had a good couple of hours together and she seemed very pleased to have my company (and tucked enthusiastically into the lemon drizzle cake I had baked for her.)

It is her birthday in October and she is planning a ‘I am still here’ small tea party at home then.
